The Illustrations of the Book of Job were William Blake’s last masterpiece of printmaking. Commissioned by the painter John Linnell, they were based on watercolours Blake had made around 1805. Three hundred copies were printed in 1826, and they earned Blake high recognition from fellow artists. They remain some of his greatest works.

The 21 prints are reproduced here actual size.
