Marzena Pogorzaly is a photographer of whom little is known. She has previously published a book about icebergs (Ice) and another about heat and colour (Havana de Cuba). Her work can be viewed at www.marzenapogorzaly.com.
George Szirtes is a British-Hungarian poet and translator. His poetry has won prizes including the Faber Prize, the T. S. Eliot Prize and the King’s Gold Medal for Poetry. His translation has also won prizes, including the Man Booker International.
